Does Mail-Organiser read my emails?
By default, Mail-Organiser classifies emails using metadata only — sender address, subject line, and structural signals. No email body content is read unless you explicitly choose to enable body scanning.
If you opt in, Mail-Organiser can read the body of specific emails to improve classification accuracy or generate draft replies. This is always consent-gated, clearly explained before it happens, and you can withdraw consent at any time in Settings. We never store email body content and we never use your emails to train any AI model.
What happens when I enable body scanning?
When you opt in to body scanning, Mail-Organiser temporarily reads the content of selected emails to do one of two things: classify an email more accurately when the subject line alone is not enough, or provide context for generating a draft reply.
The email content is sent securely to an AI model (OpenAI) to process your request, then immediately discarded. It is never stored in our database, never logged, and never used to train any AI model. Your data is used only for the specific action you requested.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from within the task pane or by emailing support@mail-organiser.com. You will keep access until the end of your current billing period. No awkward cancellation flows — one tap and you are done.
What happens after my free trial?
After 7 days, your account remains active but scans are paused until you choose a paid plan. Your folders, rules, and settings are all preserved. No charge is ever made without your explicit consent — we do not auto-upgrade you.
What counts as a “scan”?
Each email Mail-Organiser analyses and classifies counts as one scan. Scans happen when you tap “Scan Inbox”, run a Clean Sweep, or use background monitoring. Viewing your results, moving emails, or managing rules does not use scan credits.
Is my data stored in the UK?
Mail-Organiser uses Cloudflare’s edge infrastructure with EU/UK data residency. We are registered in England and Wales (BakersGuild Ltd, Co. No. 16806775, ICO ZC106060) and fully GDPR compliant. We never store email body content. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Do you offer refunds?
Mail-Organiser is a digital service that begins working immediately upon purchase. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, once you have consented to immediate delivery of a digital service and it has been delivered, the statutory 14-day cooling-off right does not apply.
We are therefore not required to offer refunds for a change of mind. However, if you experience a genuine technical issue that we were unable to resolve, please contact support@mail-organiser.com within 14 days of your purchase and we will review your case. We want every customer to have a good experience and will always try to find a fair resolution.
